22 April Anyone who volunteers with a Brown Hill community or sporting group is invited to attend Brown Hill's first National Volunteer Week celebration on Sunday 20 May from 2.00 - 4.00 pm.

22 April The development of the Brown Hill /Gong Gong Local Area Plan has now commenced. Residents and business owners are encouraged to get involved in the planning for the future of our community. Access the Brown Hill Local Area Plan to find out more. 


One Humanity Shower Bus

Fr. Constantine from St. Paul's Anglican Church in Ballarat spoke at the Brown Hill Uniting Church's April Men's Breakfast about the 'One Humanity Shower Bus' project.

He posed the question, "How would you deal with not knowing where your next shower was coming from?" This sobering thought is a harsh reality for our city’s homeless.

Autumn Delights along the Yarrowee

After the success of our March frog survey and botanical drawing class, we ran another round. As the weather was a bit dubious, the kind owners of the Brown Hill Pub let us sit out on the back balcony to conduct the botanic drawing class from where we could overlook the vegetation and still have great natural light.
