The Brown Hill Community Hub is a project of the Brown Hill Progress Association supported by the City of Ballarat through the Engaging Communities Program / Brown Hill Partnership. We welcome participation from all organisations and members of the community, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
There has been some quick progress on the reserve masterplan in recent weeks and the final draft master plan will be presented for adoption at the Council meeting on Wednesday 26 April 2023 (documents are labelled draft until adopted by Council). BHPA will be represented at this Council meeting.

We interviewed Ellen Burns, a Brown Hill local and one of the founding members of The Hidden Orchard. Ellen introduced us to Pat Greene, who has a fabulous fig tree in her Brown Hill backyard.
Continue reading »On Thursday 30 November 2017, peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends, Brown Hill local, Rhonda Peters passed away. She fought hard and can now rest. Her family says, "Love you more. xxx."
In November 2017, Brown Hill local, Lyn O'Brien passed away after a short illness.
On 18 June, at the age of 87, Kelly passed peacefully at Nazareth House, Ballarat, surrounded by his loving family. Kelly was the loved husband of Heather for 64 years, dearly-loved father of Cheryl, Diane and Vicki, loving Pop of Angela and Matthew, Troy and Sarah, and Dale and Kasey, and special loved Poppy to Zach, Oliver, Ned and Max.
