The Brown Hill Community Hub is a project of the Brown Hill Progress Association supported by the City of Ballarat through the Engaging Communities Program / Brown Hill Partnership. We welcome participation from all organisations and members of the community, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

19-22 August Delivery of the latest Community Newsletter (edition 8) to letterboxes throughout Brown Hill. For more details access "Newsletter" page

31 July Council has committed to continuing to partner with local residents to develop a Local Area Plan for Brown Hill. The Plan will provide an integrated framework for the provision of infrastructure, open spaces and other key community assets to help better protect valued community and environmental features, and manage the rapid growth occurring in the area. For more details access "Partnership" page.

Boomerang Bags in Brown Hill

The first Ballarat Boomerang Bags Sewing Bee will be on Wednesday 23 August from 7.00pm at the Brown Hill Cricket Club, 1 Reid Court. We are asking for donations of materials, clothing, cotton, scissors and spare sewing machines (to loan). Donations can be dropped at the Brown Hill Cricket Club. Please arrange a time with Wendy by calling 0419 898 286.

One Humanity Shower Bus

Fr. Constantine from St. Paul's Anglican Church in Ballarat spoke at the Brown Hill Uniting Church's April Men's Breakfast about the 'One Humanity Shower Bus' project.

He posed the question, "How would you deal with not knowing where your next shower was coming from?" This sobering thought is a harsh reality for our city’s homeless.
